Once you have your first lesson arranged you will have to provide a code that will allow your licence to be checked online. you can generate this code by visiting the gov.uk website.
You can use this service to:
The check code will be valid for 21 days.
You'll need:
To allow me to check your licence you should provide me with the case-sensitive code, as well as the last eight digits of your Driver Number.
You must also be able to read (with glasses or contact lenses, if necessary) a car number plate made after 1 September 2001 from 20 metres.
You must also meet the minimum eyesight standard for driving by having a visual acuity of at least decimal 0.5 (6/12) measured on the Snellen scale (with glasses or contact lenses, if necessary) using both eyes together or, if you have sight in one eye only, in that eye.
You must also have an adequate field of vision - your optician can tell you about this and do a test.
If you fail the minimum eyesight then your first lesson shall be a theory based session, charged at the full applicable rate.

I use an online diary and record system called Total Drive.
This system gives you access to a free app for Android and iOS. I will send you text details of how to download and log in.
Utilising this app will allow you to monitor your booked and past lessons, payments, reflective logs and progress records.
